If you’ve been searching for healthcare recruitment agencies, trying to find staff for your Residential Home, you’re in luck! Medilink Nursing is one of the UK’s top healthcare recruitment agencies, specialising in finding part-time, local work for our bank staff across the North of England and the Midlands. We have over 25 years of experience as one of England’s most trusted healthcare recruitment agencies.

What’s On Offer At Medilink Nursing?

Medilink Nursing’s main role is providing cover staff for Care & Nursing Homes, but we are also skilled in supporting other healthcare establishments! We’re always expanding our range, which means we’re recruiting, and offering:

  • Registered General Nurses – RGN’s
  • Registered Mental Nurses –RMN’s
  • Healthcare Assistants – HCA’s
  • Senior HCA’s
  • Support Workers

We only recruit staff with recent, referenced, UK-based experience to our pool of bank staff – we also provide regular refresher training, uniforms, and DBS checks, so you can be sure that whoever covers your shift, they’ll know what they’re doing and be able to get straight to work even in an unfamiliar workplace.

Our Services

What sets us apart from other healthcare recruitment agencies? Here at Medilink Nursing, we specialise in providing cover staff for last-minute situations. At care establishments, maintaining staffing levels is an important priority, and being understaffed can mean breaching the CQC’s guidelines. So, if someone hasn’t shown up at the shift handover, or calls in sick at your Home, rest assured that Medilink Nursing can find cover right away.

Besides last-minute cover, we also offer a range of standard booking options:

  • Block Bookings – If you need someone to cover the same shift for the next 10 weeks, we can have this arranged all at once, saving you from making a further 9 bookings. Handy!
  • Specialist 1-to-1 Care – If any of your residents require a little extra attention, that’s not a problem. Our staff are trained in a range of 1-to-1 areas, including dementia care, palliative care, learning & physical disability care, and more. If you have any extra requirements at all, just let us know, and we’ll see what we can do.
  • Short-term Cover – If you’ll be needing regular cover for anywhere up to a year, we class that as short-term cover because we know when the end-date will be.
  • Long-term Cover – For any amount of time greater than a year, we can provide staff on a semi-permanent contractual basis!

Making A Booking

Making a booking with us couldn’t be simpler, and there are a few ways of doing it! We have an online shift request page, which you can visit by clicking here, or using the button below. Or, you can get in touch with us at care@medilinknursing.com with any enquiries (bookings or otherwise!).

The most common way of booking, is simply giving us a call! You can reach our Head Office team on 0113 877 6383, and we’ll be there to take your call from 6:00am to 10:30pm, every single day of the year (which is perfect for those last-minute situations we mentioned earlier).

Even if you don’t need any staff right now, it would be a good idea to make a note of us, just in case you do have any unexpected staff shortages in future. It’s always a good policy to have a trusted number to call, on-hand! We look forward to hearing from you soon, although hopefully, it isn’t a stressful, last-minute situation, for your sakes!
