We have an exciting opportunity for you to work at a school as a Health & Wellbeing Officer on an ongoing basis! Our client is offering three shifts a week in the North Sheffield area, between 9:00am to 3:00pm, but they can be flexible with the time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal with emergency first aid (qualified first-aider essential).
- Support completion of new Individual Health Care Plans. Prior experience in completing IHCP is desirable but not essential.
- Review existing Individual Health Care Plans – book meetings with parent/carers and update accordingly.
- Review pupil medication – including stock levels or removal of out of date medication.
- Ensure first aid cabinets across school are replenished and contain all relevant first materials.
- Assist with record-keeping and basic safeguarding procedures.
- Effective collaboration with colleagues across the school.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience of working with young people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Familiarity with office equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
