Nurse and Healthcare Assistant Services Available in 2023!
Happy New Year!
(Unless, of course, you’re reading this later in the year, then we hope you’re having a good one.)
It may be a new year, but we’re still here to provide you with the same high-quality services we were supplying in 2022, and many years before that.
2022 was another trying year, but we couldn’t be happier with the efforts put in by all of our Nurses and Healthcare Assistants across the Residential and Nursing Homes we supply. From ensuring all precautions are taken to keep everyone safe, to helping residents have a bit of fun and a laugh – it’s been tough considering everything that has gone on, but they’ve managed to do it! Of course, it goes without saying that none of this would have been possible if it weren’t for the Managers, Shift Coordinators, and other Healthcare staff that we have been fortunate enough to be working alongside.
This is an update on the services we will be providing in 2023, as a point of reference, if you are thinking about joining the Medilink Nursing team, or wanting to use our services in the future.
Temporary Staff For Nursing and Residential Homes
With over 24 years of experience in providing temporary Nurses (Registered General and Mental Nurses) and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs), we’ve had a fair bit of time to work on the services that we provide!
Below is a brief summary of each type of service we provide:
Last-Minute Shift Requests
Also known as “Ad Hoc”, this is without a doubt our most used service!
Getting last-minute cover can be an absolute nightmare – why does everyone seem to be unavailable when you really need them?
Instead, just give us a ring, and we’ll provide you with a fast, honest response, even if it is last minute.
Short Term Cover
Cover is often required for maternity leave, annual leave or a long-term illness. No matter how long (or even little) you need an extra pair of hands for, we’ll have someone for you!
Long Term Cover
At Medilink Nursing, we can provide Qualified Nurses or Health Care Assistants on a semi-permanent contract basis of one or more years.
Specialised 1 to 1 Care
Sometimes those under your care need a little extra attention, which is why we offer dedicated 1 to 1 care.
Your residents will get the high-quality, friendly care they deserve from our Nurses and Carers, who are highly trained in areas such as dementia care, mental health, as well as physical disabilities.
Block Bookings
When staff are going to be taking time off, it can be a bit of a worry, especially if you’re not able to guarantee cover for them straight away. Rather than worry, you can book a Nurse or Carer with us to cover as many shifts as you want! Why deal with it one at a time when you can get it sorted and not have to worry?
Online Training
Whilst we may not have been able to see our staff face-to-face as much as we like, it has given us the opportunity to continuously improve our online training courses!
These CPD approved courses, made in partnership with Aaron’s Department, are perfect for updating and refreshing staff’s knowledge around important Healthcare topics.
Whether you’re looking for CoSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous To Health), Infection Control, First Aid Awareness, Record Keeping, or something else, we’ll be more than happy to set you and your staff up.
These are the same training courses that we have been providing to our own RGNs, RMNs, Senior HCAs, and HCAs, so you can have peace of mind knowing that a lot of effort has gone into them to ensure they meet the high standards we set ourselves.
Here’s To A New Year!
Finally, I just wanted to send my best wishes to you for the New Year. We look forward to working alongside you, whether you’re a new or returning client, or a Healthcare worker as part of our fantastic team!
